This Refund & Returns Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Taylor’s Militaria and applies to all purchases made through this website.
Our Guarantee
Unless otherwise stated, all items offered for sale are of original period manufacture.
We offer a money-back guarantee on goods supplied, subject strictly to the conditions set out below.
Returns Due to Dissatisfaction
If you are unhappy with an item purchased, you must notify us by email within 7 days of receiving the goods.
- The item may then be returned, provided it is in the same condition as originally supplied
- Upon satisfactory return, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued
- Postage and shipping costs are not refundable
If notification is not received within this 7-day period, the item will be considered sold and accepted.
Authenticity Guarantee (Lifetime)
All items are guaranteed to be 100% original to the period, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
If at any time—whether shortly after purchase or many years later—an item sold as original is proven to be a copy, a full refund of the purchase price will be offered.
This authenticity guarantee applies for the lifetime of the item.
Refund Exclusions
Refunds will not be offered in the following circumstances:
- Goods purchased in error
- Errors arising from translation of website content into another language
- Purchases made on behalf of a third party
- Items that have been damaged, disassembled, altered, cleaned, or tampered with after purchase
Intended Use & Wearability
All items are supplied for collector display purposes only.
- Items are not intended for wear or use
- No guarantee is given regarding the fit or suitability of clothing, footwear, or headgear for wear
Import Responsibility
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that items ordered are permitted for import into their country.
If an item must be returned because import is not permitted:
- We may offer alternative goods to the same value, less any incurred return postage and import costs
- Refunds will not be provided in these circumstances
Payment Method Refunds
- Items paid for via PayPal will be refunded via PayPal
- Refunds will be made using the original payment method only
Order Acknowledgement & Acceptance
No contract exists between the customer and Taylor’s Militaria until:
- Full payment has been received, and
- The goods have been dispatched
Order acknowledgements or payment confirmations (including those from PayPal) do not constitute acceptance of an order.
If we decide not to accept an order for any reason, the customer will be notified and any monies paid will be refunded in full.
Restricted Items (Knives & Firearms)
The sale of knives, edged weapons, and firearms is restricted to persons 18 years of age or older.
- Age verification may be required before completion of purchase
- Certain restricted items may not be sold to specific locations due to legal limitations
Metal Terminology
References to “gold”, “silver”, or “bronze” describe:
- Award classification
- Finish or appearance
They do not imply solid metal content unless explicitly stated.
Availability of Goods
While the website is designed to display only available items, it is possible that an item may sell during your visit.
If an item is unavailable at the time your order is placed, you will be notified promptly.
Shipping Charges & Insurance
All orders are subject to delivery, packing, and handling charges calculated at checkout.
- We reserve the right to correct miscalculations prior to dispatch
- Items are shipped at the customer’s risk
- Insurance is included only to the extent provided by the carrier and offers limited coverage
We are not liable for loss or damage once items are in transit.
