Historical Context

E. Leitz Wetzlar produced some of the finest optics of the period, supplying the Wehrmacht throughout the war. The 10×50 configuration offered superior low-light performance, making them highly valued among artillery spotters, reconnaissance troops, and field officers, especially during the early campaigns where visibility and long-range observation were essential.

Condition

Good overall condition with expected field wear. Exterior shows paint loss and patina from service use. Optics remain clear with smooth focus. Leather strap shows age but remains intact.
