Hurry up! Only 1 item is in stock!

Original pre- to early-war German personal grooming set consisting of a Birko Best razor (Solingen-Wald) with its original box and three unopened packs of period razor blades — Klingelschmied, Nivea, and Royal Solingen. Each brand represents authentic German manufacture from the 1930s–1940s, a period when Solingen was Europe’s centre for precision steelwork. All items remain unused, preserving their historical and aesthetic integrity.

Historical Context

Personal hygiene items such as this razor set were a common part of German soldiers’ field or barracks kits during the late 1930s and wartime period. Manufactured in Solingen, known as the “City of Blades,” these razors and blades combined quality craftsmanship with functional design, catering to both military and civilian markets. Brands like Nivea and Royal Solingen were prominent during the interwar and wartime years, while Birko Best and Klingelschmied reflected the excellence of Solingen’s magnet steel production.

Sets like this exemplify the daily life of Wehrmacht personnel — beyond weapons and uniforms, they show the importance of maintaining discipline, hygiene, and presentation within the ranks.

Condition

All components are unused and well-preserved. The razor retains its original wax paper wrapping, while the boxes exhibit only minor shelf wear consistent with age. Labels and text remain legible, and no rust or deterioration is present.

ALL ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED ORIGINAL PERIOD PIECES.
