Hurry up! Only 1 item is in stock!

Original German Army (Heer) equipment strap, dated 1941, made from black-dyed leather with a zinc-plated steel buckle. This standard-issue strap measures approximately 55 cm and was used to secure Zeltbahns, mess kits, blankets, and other field gear to the soldier’s A-frame or tornister pack. A solid early-war example with clean mid-war construction and natural tan inner finish.

Historical Context

Produced during the height of early-war mobilisation, these straps were part of every soldier’s issued field equipment. By 1941, German leather goods retained high craftsmanship and quality control before later wartime material shortages led to simplified designs. Used universally across the Heer, Luftwaffe, and Waffen-SS, these straps were essential for carrying the multi-purpose Zeltbahn 31 and other personal kit.

Condition

Good used condition. Leather remains supple with minor surface wear. Stitching is tight, and buckle retains most of its original finish. Excellent example for early-war field gear display or equipment restoration.
