Hurry up! Only 1 item is in stock!

Original German Army (Heer) black leather Zeltbahn or equipment strap, clearly dated 1944 and factory coded on the reverse. A solid late-war example made from sturdy leather with a zinc-plated steel buckle, used for securing the Zeltbahn, blanket, or field gear to the A-frame or pack.

Historical Context

By 1944, German field equipment production had shifted toward efficiency and resource conservation. Despite material shortages, leather straps like this remained essential items in the Wehrmacht’s modular field gear system, used universally across the Army, Luftwaffe, and Waffen-SS. The black-dyed finish was standard issue for general field service, designed for durability under harsh wartime conditions.

Condition

Good used condition. Leather remains flexible with visible surface wear. Stitching intact and buckle retains a worn steel patina. A genuine late-war strap showing honest field use, ideal for completing an A-frame or display setup.
