Hurry up! Only 1 item is in stock!

Original German Army Zeltbahn equipment strap manufactured in Aachen in 1940. Crafted from high-quality blackened leather with a zinc-plated steel buckle, this early-war strap was used to fasten Zeltbahns, mess tins, or other field gear to the A-frame or tornister pack. Clearly maker-marked and dated on the tip, showing fine pre-war craftsmanship typical of early Wehrmacht equipment.

Historical Context

During the early stages of WWII, the German Army maintained high standards in leather production. Straps such as this were issued as multipurpose field gear, essential for securing the soldier’s Zeltbahn 31, canteen, or blanket roll. Production from Aachen—a key military supply city—reflects early-war precision before the later simplifications of wartime manufacturing.

Condition

Good used condition. Leather remains flexible with light surface wear. Markings are legible, and stitching and buckle remain intact. An excellent early-war example of authentic German field equipment.
