Original Wehrmacht K98k triple ammunition pouch constructed from pebbled black leather with natural stitching. Features three individual compartments, each secured by a strap and metal stud fastener. Rear includes belt loops and a D-ring for Y-strap attachment. Stamped R. Ehrhardt, Poessneck, 1941 on the reverse, indicating manufacture by the noted Thuringian leather goods supplier.
Issued to German infantrymen throughout the Second World War, these three-cell pouches held 60 rounds of 7.92×57 mm ammunition in five-round stripper clips. Early- to mid-war pouches such as this example typically exhibit high-quality leather and durable stitching. Production by R. Ehrhardt was common in 1941, supplying units across multiple Wehrmacht fronts during the expansion of the Eastern campaign.
Good, service-used condition with a naturally aged surface and supple leather. Stitching remains tight, with one authentic wartime repair to the center pocket lid. All straps and fasteners intact and functional. No internal dividers present, consistent with many front-line replacements or simplified mid-war issues.
