Hurry up! Only 1 item is in stock!

Original German-made Busch compass, produced as a private-purchase item in the pre-war to early war period. This example is DRGM marked and housed in its original Bakelite body, retaining the correct period drawstring cloth bag. A desirable and fully functional navigation piece representative of early Wehrmacht field equipment.

Historical Context

Busch of Rathenow was one of Germany’s most respected optical and precision instrument manufacturers. Compasses such as this were commonly purchased privately by soldiers prior to or during the early years of the Second World War, supplementing issued equipment. The DRGM marking confirms a registered German design, most commonly seen on pre-war and early war commercial production.

Condition

Very good original condition. Compass is fully functional with clear, legible dial and smooth needle movement. Bakelite body shows only light, honest wear. Cloth bag remains intact with original drawstring, showing expected age toning but no major damage.

ALL ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED ORIGINAL PERIOD PIECES.
