Original Luftwaffe aluminium ID disc (Erkennungsmarke) issued to a soldier of 7. Kompanie, Flieger Regiment 11, marked with personal number 3. This regiment was part of the early Luftwaffe ground and air operations structure, providing security, logistics, and airfield support during the early campaigns of the war.

Historical Context

Flieger Regiment 11 was one of the Luftwaffe’s early ground and air force formations. Created before and during the early stages of WWII, these regiments often performed dual roles — providing airfield defence, flight operations support, and emergency infantry duties when required. Units like the 7th Company were deployed across occupied territories, manning airfields and defensive outposts, particularly during the campaigns in Western Europe and later in the Balkans and Eastern Front.

Condition

Heavily patinated with stable corrosion and pitting consistent with field recovery. All unit and numeric markings remain clearly visible.

ALL ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED ORIGINAL PERIOD PIECES.
