The Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen (Driver’s Proficiency Badge) was introduced in 1942 to recognise the skill and reliability of German Army vehicle drivers. Awarded in bronze, silver, and gold grades, the badge acknowledged extended periods of safe and dependable service. This bronze example represents the first grade of the award and was worn on the lower left sleeve of the uniform.
Good used condition — uniform-removed example showing age wear to wool backing, slight oxidation to reverse, and traces of field use. A genuine, service-worn piece with strong character and patina.
