Hurry up! Only 1 item is in stock!

Original Wehrmacht Heer senior soldier’s rank pip, machine-embroidered on HBT (Herringbone Twill) fabric. This example was intended for wear on the drill or fatigue uniform, used during training and non-combat duties.

Constructed from field-grey HBT cloth with a finely detailed silver-grey embroidered pip at the center, denoting the rank distinction for Obergefreiter or equivalent senior enlisted personnel. The reverse shows the period-correct cotton backing typical of late-war unissued insignia.

Historical Context

Drill and work uniforms were widely worn throughout the German Army for daily duties, maintenance, and summer exercises. The use of HBT fabric provided lightweight durability, and rank insignia like this were sewn directly to the chest or sleeve to maintain standard identification outside of combat dress.

Condition

Excellent, unissued condition with sharp embroidery and intact backing. No damage or repairs.

ALL ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED ORIGINAL PERIOD PIECES.
