Original WWII German Army Bakelite whistle as issued to NCOs and section leaders for field signals and command control. Made from black Bakelite with the classic cylindrical body and rounded mouthpiece. This example is unmarked, as many wartime whistles were, and remains in good working order.
Whistles were widely carried by German NCOs for battlefield communication, parade drills, and controlling troop movement. Bakelite examples appeared mid-war as a material-saving alternative to metal models and saw extensive use across all branches of the Wehrmacht.
Good condition with light handling wear. No cracks or chips. Sound output remains strong.
