Original WWII German Army rubberised gas cape bag in very good, supple condition. The rubber coating remains flexible, and the interior clearly shows both the maker’s stamp and a Waffenamt inspection mark. One Bakelite button is missing, but all other features remain intact.
Gas cape bags were issued to all branches of the Wehrmacht for carrying the protective gas cape, a standard component of anti-gas equipment throughout WWII. Rubberised examples like this were designed to remain waterproof while being lightweight and easy to attach to the gas mask canister.
The bag is in very good condition with soft rubber, strong seams, and clear internal markings. One Bakelite button is missing, but the remainder of the hardware is present and functional.
