Original matched set of German Army Oberleutnant insignia for a transport (Nachschub) officer. Includes a pair of silver bullion shoulder boards with blue Waffenfarbe backing and matching collar tabs featuring blue service stripes. The shoulder boards retain their original medical caduceus and rank pip, denoting a senior transport officer attached to medical or supply logistics.
Transport officers were crucial in maintaining Wehrmacht supply and logistics operations, ensuring delivery of fuel, ammunition, and rations to front-line units. The blue Waffenfarbe identified members of the Nachschubtruppen (supply and transport troops), an essential branch that kept the army mobile across Europe.
Good used condition with minor wear and slight fraying to edges. Metal insignia remain attached, and colour is well-preserved.
