Hurry up! Only 1 item is in stock!

Original WWII German Karabiner 98k (K98k) ammunition pouch constructed from black pebbled leather. This example is dated 1943 with a partially legible maker’s mark on the reverse. A solid mid-war production piece retaining its original fittings and stitching.

Historical Context

The K98k ammunition pouch was standard issue for Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS infantry throughout the Second World War. Each pouch held two five-round stripper clips in each pocket (30 rounds total), designed to feed the standard service rifle, the Karabiner 98k. By 1943, production had been simplified due to wartime shortages—blackened leather with reduced internal dividers became common. The example shown represents this transitional wartime economy pattern, produced during Germany’s mid-war industrial peak.

Condition

Good combat-used condition — soft, pliable leather with natural surface wear and field patina. Stitching remains tight and original, with no repairs or tears. Maker’s mark partially visible; date stamp “1943” clear. A classic and well-preserved field gear item ideal for display.
