Original WWII German Schutzpolizei (Municipal Police) straight-leg trousers, constructed from fine grey-green wool trikot with distinctive orange piping running down the outer seams — the official branch colour of the Ordnungspolizei. This authentic pair retains all period features and buttons, representing a classic example of late-1930s to early-war police service attire.
The Schutzpolizei, or "Protection Police," was the uniformed branch of the German Ordnungspolizei responsible for urban law enforcement, crowd control, and wartime security duties. Their uniforms were distinguished by their grey-green wool and orange piping — a colour unique to the municipal police forces. Trousers like these were worn with both the standard police tunic and the greatcoat, forming part of the full service dress used throughout the war.
