Original 1934 edition of Die Straße Frei dem Jungvolk! (“Make Way for the Young People!”) written by Heinrich Franz and published by Verlag Deutsche Kultur-Wacht, Berlin-Schöneberg.
This book was issued during the formative years of the Hitler Youth movement, focusing on the ideology, values, and stories designed to inspire loyalty and discipline among German youth. It served as early material aimed at shaping the attitudes of the Deutsches Jungvolk—the junior branch of the Hitler Youth for boys aged 10–14.
Printed only one year after the establishment of the Hitler Youth as the sole official youth organisation in Germany, this publication exemplifies the regime’s early cultural education strategy. It promoted unity and the idea of serving the nation through the lens of youthful enthusiasm. Such works were instrumental in embedding National Socialist ideas in education and literature throughout the 1930s.
Fair to good condition. Original orange cloth hardcover with black Gothic lettering. Some minor fading and small spots to the cover and interior pages, consistent with age. Binding remains intact with light foxing on the title page.
