An original WWII-period HJ Streifendienst cuff title, BeVo woven in yellow thread on a black rayon base. This example is a uniform-removed piece showing clear period construction and honest wear, making it a strong original artefact from the auxiliary supervisory branch of the Hitler Youth organisation.
The Streifendienst was the internal policing and supervisory arm of the Hitler Youth, responsible for discipline, crowd control, and order at rallies, camps, train stations, and public events. Members acted as marshals and supervisors over regular HJ members and wore distinctive cuff titles to identify their authority. These cuff titles were produced using the BeVo weaving process and worn on the lower sleeve of the uniform, making surviving original examples a sought-after insignia from the organisational structure of the HJ.
Uniform removed with visible wear consistent with period use. The BeVo weave remains clear and legible, with minor fraying to the ends and light thread wear present. Overall, the piece displays well and retains strong character.
