Original Luftwaffe-issued support booklet titled “So wird für Dich und Deine Angehörigen gesorgt” (“How We Will Care for You and Your Family”), written by Walter Frey and published by the Wehrbetreuung der Luftwaffe (Air Force Welfare Office).
This booklet addressed legal and social welfare questions for soldiers, explaining the rights of service members and their families regarding pay, insurance, pensions, and support during and after military service. It was distributed to Luftwaffe personnel to reassure soldiers that their dependents would be cared for while they served in the armed forces.
Printed during the early years of the Second World War, this publication reflects the Luftwaffe’s internal welfare structure, which provided administrative and financial guidance to servicemen and their families. Such materials were part of a broader system of morale and social control, aiming to maintain trust in the regime’s support system while promoting duty and loyalty among airmen.
