Original World War II Luftwaffe officers dress gloves, manufactured for wear with parade and service dress uniforms. This matching pair remains in mint, unissued condition and is still factory-tied together with the original size tag present. Marked size “12,” indicating a smaller fit. Correct period press-stud fasteners to the wrists are intact and functional. A scarce example in untouched condition.
Luftwaffe officers were issued or privately purchased high-quality dress accessories to be worn with their blue service tunics and full parade uniforms. Gloves such as these were worn during formal occasions, inspections, ceremonies, and off-duty wear when in uniform. Unlike field gloves, dress gloves were produced from finer fabric and often remained unused, especially late-war examples. Surviving unissued pairs are increasingly difficult to find, making this an excellent reference and display piece for Luftwaffe officer impressions.
