Original WW2 tropical tan Kradschützen mitten-style gauntlets. Constructed from light canvas and leather with adjustable wrist straps secured by press-stud buttons. Fully matching pair, RBN-numbered and marked “B41”. Unissued wartime condition with only minor storage wear.
These gauntlets were issued to Kradschützen (motorcycle troops) operating in warmer climates, particularly units deployed in southern Europe, the Mediterranean, and North Africa. The tropical-tan cloth construction helped reduce heat buildup compared to the heavier leather winter versions. Such gloves were commonly used by motorcycle dispatch riders, reconnaissance troops, and Kettenkrad operators, offering hand and wrist protection from wind, debris, and light abrasion while riding at speed. The “B41” marking denotes 1941 manufacture, and the accompanying RBN number reflects later-war supply standardisation adopted by the German Army.
Unissued wartime condition. Canvas and leather are fully intact with no structural faults. Very minor storage wear to the outer cloth surfaces from long-term handling. Matching pair with strong markings and undamaged hardware.
