Original unissued M44 pattern enlisted men's collar tabs made of grey rayon weave, used across all late-war branches of the German Army. A matching pair retaining full length with loose factory thread ends.
Introduced in 1944, the simplified M44 collar tab was part of the Wehrmacht’s late-war move toward streamlined, resource-efficient uniform production. Unlike earlier branch-coloured insignia, these tabs were standardised for universal issue across the Heer, reflecting the material shortages and uniform simplification of the final war years.
Unissued condition with clean rayon weave. Some fraying to the outer thread ends is present from storage but typical for factory-unfinished tabs.
